Just how many Antipodean lensmasters are there?
In a mad moment I squid-searched for lenses on Australia and New Zealand hoping to track down southern lensmasters that way. I found a few. From that few I found a handful who were good!
In an even madder moment I set up a blog to showcase these sterling lensmasters in another place – I called it Squids Downunder. What do you think?
(Before you accuse me of nationalism, I mean).
Overall, Squids Downunder will be a blog with a number of contributors, all in Australia or New Zealand. Everyone will be writing on their own choice of subjects.
I intend to put some tutorials into this Oz-Kiwi Connection site. There are some truly excellent lenses out there with clear explanations and sound advice. The fluffanutta’s guides spring to mind instantly.
If I’ve overlooked anyone, if there’s a lensmaster out there who should be contributing to this new site, please let me know.

I’m planning a trip down under and to New Zealand and am trying to bring Jaguar Julies journal of the travelling squid with me. The plan is to drop it off at each of my stops to lensmasters there to have their say and then move it on to the next stop. However am battling to find people who are interested and time is of the essence now. Perchance you could help with anyone interested?
