I had forgotten about Nessie. How could I do that? One day I hope to find her myself.

Here she is Nessie, the Beast of the Loch

I should really call her by her true name, Niseag, the last thing that I want to do is offend a poor creature who has been trapped in the loch since the end of the last Ice Age.

Many explanations have been put forward over the years to explain the claims for her existence.

These may be categorised:

  1. unknown species of large animals
  2. mystic or paranormal
  3. misidentification of known animals
  4. inanimate objects or effects and
  5. hoaxes

Dear Nessie, long may she live in the loch!

I started a new group today, this one for cats.

I don’t mean about cats, or how to care for cats or even a lens on the magnificent Siberian tiger. I mean for the ordinary, common or garden, run of the mill house cat. The cat companion.

Feline Friends : Our Cat Companions

I wonder how many lenses there actually are on the cat companion. We shall see.

There’s always a problem with the groups. Mostly it’s the number of people who submit their lenses which are totally irrelevant to the topic or, even worse, unfinished. You know those awful unfinished lenses with default module titles and NO bio.

Somehow I have a feeling that those who take the time to write up a lens on their cat won’t have an unfinished lens to show for it.
