Every now and then I come across a really great new lensmaster in the community.

I’m going to make a list of the best new ones, the Fresh Squid, and follow them along their way for a year.

Big project? Not at all. It means only checking on them once a month so as long as I don’t suddenly find 500 overnight it should take only an hour or so a week.

I was planning on perhaps a dozen. Hopefully I can thin down from a score or so and they will most certainly be the best!

I’ve begun with four refreshing star material lensmasters in Promising New Lensmasters of 2010

Let’s have a look at the first one I came across – AddaptAbilities.

She may exceed the time limit I put on for Fresh Squid, but she’s mot very well known and her work is just too good to pass over.

Have a look at this lens on The Truth about Tabby Cats.

(To tell you the truth, it was my own cat who pointed it out to me).

Squidoo can be strange.

I spent a lot of time with a bottom feeder lens and I don’t think it’s ever going to fly. On the other hand, I have a lens with absolutely nothing in it apart from some sales modules and it’s been sitting in the second tier since the second day.

There’s just no reason for this.

I’d give it a 3 star rating myself. Cool Gifts under $20
