Not content with blogging and the occasional foray into facebook, my old cat has taken to squidoo with a ferocity unseen since his younger days (before the surgical snip).
He’s made a few lenses but reaching Gianthood is another matter entirely. Could he even make the 50 required?

I dragged out the old Kraken stories yesterday. How they must have frightened sailors!
Probably why that prayer was taught in childhood, Keep safe all those who work at sea and fish the waters of the deep. It still comes unbidden to me on nights when the wind blows up from the south west and the waves break high on the shore.
The sea gives me the creeps. I can’t imagine how my ancestors coped, sea-faring people the lot of them. I’d stay behind.
It will if the sea level keeps rising.
